There is so much joy to be experienced here in the CCM and we want you to be a part of it. There are so many students involved in this organization that radiate the love of Christ.
We want to show you why you belong to the Mystical Body of Christ. We hope to help you grow in your faith during your college journey. Through the events we offer and the facility we have for you, we hope you feel and become part of the family that we have in this place we call a home away from home.
We're just like you, trying to figure out life, attempting to grow, and finding the individual we are called to be during the most challenging time of our lives. We're college students striving for what is good in this life, in the hopes of bringing glory to Christ our King. We serve to be served, we grow the same time you grow, and that's why we want you to be a part of our organization.

Rooted in the Love of Christ
Within the walls of the chapel, is a boundless, intangible, soul-filling, heart-warming, gut-wrenching, radiant love of Christ, that is found through the Eucharist. The same love of Christ can be found through our members. This love of Christ is what is deemed necessary for authenticity in our friendships here. We hope to share the love of Christ to you, in the hopes that you would too would share with others.

The Mystical Body of Christ- the Church - is not just for those who are advanced in their faith, but rather it gives us the necessary tools to grow in faith. It is a hospital for the wounded, a shelter for those seeking the true home, and the best place for you and I to be. I know how it is. It's intimidating. It's scary to think about being a part of something with others you don't even know. I'm here to tell you that it's okay, because you are welcomed. You are welcomed to be a part of the family we have here at Christ the King Chapel in the University of Louisiana at Monroe. We welcome you to experience the love that fills these walls. We welcome you to join the family that we have been blessed with during our college experience. We welcome you to experience authentic friendships. It doesn't matter who you are when you walk in that door, we'll welcome you with the same smile. It doesn't matter what kind of background you come from, we'll treat you the same way we treat others. You are valuable to us.

College is a difficult journey and can be troublesome if you don’t have an immediate support group or family near you when times get rough. That's what we offer here as the CCM community, we offer you a home away from home, we extend a welcoming hand for you to be a part of our friend group and join us in our mission to receive and spread the Word of Jesus Christ.
